| Tianmenshan National Forest park |
 Tianmenshan lies to the south of Zhangjiajie and it's only 10 kilometers away from the town .80% of it is covered with the forest,including the rare trees protcted by the state such as dove tree, fragrant fruit,Chinese tulip tree, etc .
Not only is Tianmenshan unique in natural scenery but it's rich in human spectacle. The artists and poets have gathered here since ancient times.Among the picturesque scenery 32 scenic spots stand out which are called 16 peaks & 16 caves.What is the most remarkable is the Tianmen Cave which, by name, means the Gate of the Heaven. It is 131.5 metres high, 37 metres wide,and over 30 metres deep.Small planes can fly through it. |

 Puguang Buddhist Temple lies to the east of Yongding district and is between Tianmenshan and Fude Mount.It has a long history and 50 to 100 monks .Several abbots have been well-known in the buddhist circle.It is called "celebrated temple of Jiangnan". |
